I changed the old tutorial from the old one to this one, some people were having trouble figuring out what to do.

Firstly, we'll add some new brushes.

>Click on "My Computer"
>Click on "Local Disk (C:)
>Go into Program Files
>Go to the GIMP folder
>Click on "Share"
>Click on gimp
>Click on the file you see
>Click on brushes

It should show the brushes that are already installed in GIMP.

>Move the brushes you just extracted from the folder they're in to this one.
>Open up gimp and click the paint tool, go to the box where you change brushes and you should see that the brushes you moved to that folder are installed in GIMP.

Here's a picture tutorial, that iheartpuppies provided us with:

If you don't know how to open the zip folder, just follow these steps:

1. Download the brushes (make sure you know where they are being downloaded to)
2. Make a new folder on your desktop, label it however you want, move the files to it
3. Right Click on the zip folder, and click "Extract Here"
4. The brushes should appear, if you double click on one, it should automatically open up GIMP

Okay, scratch everything that you just did. We're gonna do it a simpler way.

brushes you moved to that folder are installed in GIMP.

You're done! Go away and paint! (lol)

These steps should work for most zip folders and you should be able to use the brushes you downloaded. This works for the font zip folders as well, though you will have to go in to your control panel, click on fonts, and move the files to the folder so they can be installed.

Then after you have done this follow the instructions I gave you earlier.
