Can't we just cut the freaking NASA program.
Save billions for us.
Screw astronomy and space.

im sorry alucard but that is the most stupid thing i have ever heard, there will be about 10 billion people on this planet by the time me and you leave this planet and guess what the planet is only getting smaller with the rise in sea levels.

we need more space we need more abundant materials , i.e helium 3 on the moon which can power the earth with electricity for thousands of years.

mars is 3 times bigger than earth and can be colonized. i.e taking tree simples up planting trees which create oxygen . we know now there is water on mars so combine them and you have another livable planet . the moon cant be like earth though but it can be like a stop off point to mars and a small colony . also scientific experiments and such.

there is alien life out there and they done an experiment they reckon that the could be as many as 10 000 intelligent spices like us are we just going to sit back on earth and wait for these aliens to come and wipe us out or turn us into slaves . have some pride in humanity and don't be so negative next time.

obama budget = no change at all.

fine.
then how about private companies give money to support the program.
so we still have the program and it won't come out of the taxpayers pockets.
=_=

obama said he would go through spending line by line, and will ban all earmarks and waste. obama better veto this bill. obama needs to stand up to pelosi, its her bill, not his promised bill of pork elimination and congressional earmarks.9000 earmarks. .

He is not shaping up to be particularly honest. The two things that stand out in my mind are the earmark issue and the liars budget he put out. He has artificially inflated the expected gdp for this year to make the deficit look less awful than it is really likely to be. Basing those projections on a 1.2% reduction in gdp when last quarter came in at -6.2 is dishonest to the core. Unless he is stupid there is no way he can believe his own numbers.

I wonder how our situation will look once we get our tax returns soon.

A lot of you guys think he's doing a better job than bush because he speaks without error, strong speeches, etc but in all reality, he's just using dumb scare tactics to win us over. If we don't do this, that will happen, if we don't do that, this will happen. He's... In my opinion going to eat the shitter really quick, once again America fails in choosing a good president. And I'm not sure if you've read exactly what he's planning on spending the money on either, but maybe you should check that out too and see what exactly he's doing with all that money. And where is the money coming from one might ask? Hello grand children! You said it yourself, he just became president not too long ago, and he spent more than all of crunchy roll's subscribers are going to make in their life combined in a month.

ooo i watched his speech on what he was gonna do with education on cnn the other day and i'm excited. he wants to make it possible for teachers to get raises, which is exciting because that means if i'm a good enough teacher then i can get a raise lol. and he's trying to make schools in the us just as good as schools in other countries like, idk he mentioned singapore and south korea.

i'm not complaining about his proposal at all. atleast he's trying to do something about the us
