I heard about this series a while ago. A joint effort by Stan Lee (Spider-man) and Takei Hiroyuki (Shaman King).

In the past a scientist pursuing ultimate strength found that the concepts of good and evil in humanity kept gettng in his way. He viewed the conflict between the two halves of human nature to be a barrier between him and his goal. He began to wonder about the nature of Good and Evil in themselves.

He devided a soul into two halves, pure good and pure evil. Each half he placed in identical robotic bodies in order to answer a single question.

Which is stronger; Good or Evil.

In the present, those two robots are about to awaken.

So far I have only found a Zero chapter and then a restarting of it with chapter 1. I gather it has been licened by Viz already. I have always liked Takei Hiroyuki work on Shaman King and I'm curious to see how the premise plays out as well as how Stan Lee will be recieved by Japanese readers.

Has anyone else seen this yet?
What do you think of it?
What do you think of the idea of more American/Japanese colaberations for the future?

Ultimo really does look like it could be very interseting. I think they had the chapter zero in an issue of Shonen Jump so I`m pretty sure people have at least heard about it.
