On February 27th of 2009, the film industry was shaken up with another video game-to-movie flop. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li by Director Andrzej Bartkowiak and writer Justin Marks (adaptation) was considered a flop among millions. The best summary of the reviewer's opinions came from Farstrider. He is a member of the Imdb.com (Internet Movie Database) community and he/she stated "This movie was terrible to put it simply. I wasn't expecting it to be great, but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was. It seemed that they took a really bad, wannabe Kung-Fu movie added some Street Fighter names and thought that would good enough to pass it off as a Street Fighter movie. Horrible, almost nonexistent plot, bad acting, and terrible fight scenes make this movie not worth the time it takes to watch it. At times it was funny though, but not intentionally. When certain characters try to be serious or they throw out some line they think would be good catch phrase you can't help but laugh at how poor the acting was. " Now, there is an even bigger issue the movie had that frustrated fans the most.

-Kristin Kreuk

I have taken the liberty to find and or make several photos for you, the readers, to debate on whether Kristin Kreuk was indeed the best choice or if someone else in her place would have saved the movie.Other actresses I personally chose are available and feel free to Message[link on bottom] me to add your own. *Try to post the letter of the picture you speak about so everyone can follow the conversation*

Nice I agree with you there that she is a great choice of an actress.

Great choice yes but I can't say she was the best choice. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Chun-Li Chinese or of some Asian decent?? It's the fact that the name "Street Fighter" is HUGE all over the planet. One would think that they would put some effort into casting people who actually look like their on-screen counterparts if this movie is supposed to be accepted by the world. You understand where I'm coming from?
