Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/3/09 After seeing countless times where people swap out engines (lame ex. but the Nismo Mustang, a friend swapped out a Corvette engine and put it into a Cadilac, someone did up a build thread of a Dodge Neon with a RWD conversion... etc.) What do you think? I myself am wondering due to my curiosity to fab something up... Vtec engine in a Ford Esscort... Viper engine into a Lancer... some ideas I have been having. So let me know. LATE

If you meant engine swapping or swapping in general, than ok. I saw an RX7 being sold with an LS7 under the hood. SW20 with a V6 engine. Oddly someone had a Mitsubishi Mirage and made the body into an EVO 6, don't know about the inside though. For me, I want to swap almost everything on my GC8 2.5rs and put in a total STi Spec C conversion. With the money and time, you can do hella swaps to anything you want...LS7 in a GEO, YEA!!! lol

With the money and time, you can do hella swaps to anything you want...LS7 in a GEO, YEA!!! lol mirage's and galants share the same body as some of the lancer evo, just different body panels, interior, drivetrain an engine. you can drop a 4g63t evo motor into a 98 galant w/o modification, but you have to do the whole drivetrain. btw this is pretty interesting, search for the two door evo, that guy who made one must have lot of time on his hand, full convertion, but its a 2 door.... i think he used a mirage as a base.

Pretty much a bolt in deal. Kugel Komponents offers a bunch of stuff to install the engine as well as a kit to bolt in an 8.8 mustang axle.
