What mixture of martial arts do u believe would be the most useful to you? and tell why.

for me, i would learn taekwondo, jujitsu, hopkido, jeet kune do, wing chun, and muy thai kick boxing.

i would learn TKD because it has just about every kick in the book. jujitsu for grappling on the ground. Hopkido for grappling while standing. wing chun and muy thai for the punches (wing chun also), elbows, knees, and shin kicks. and jeet kune do because it has just about all of that stuff in it and it sounds cool.

o yea, and i would need escrima for weapons training. though i think jeet kune do covers that to .

woo hoo another one of my infamous fighting threads- i know u guys missed me.

kung fu- contains all the roots of martial arts
Jeet Kun Do- Bruce Lee status
Krav Maga- simple take downs, nothing flashy
Muay Thai- brutal beat downs with elbows
juditsu- grappling
hapkido- cuz its my nation's style of fighting =] (I'd rather choose hapkido than tkd becase hapkido is more about offensive attacks and tkd is more about self defense. psh, the creator of tkd obviously didn't know the best defense is offense )

Krav Maga - great offence and defence.
Aiki - incredible defence.
My friend learnt both and now the only person who can beat him is his Aiki teacher.

I would definitely want to learn Aikido, Judo, Wing Chun, Muay Thai. Both Aikido and Judo are good to be used against many or bigger opponents. Wing Chun -------> watch Ip Man (starring Donnie Yen)!!! Muay Thai has lethal moves that utilise both elbows and knees, very good for combination with other form of style. Imagine performing a throw on an opponent (Judo) and finishing it off with an elbow hit on the neck or a knee drop on the face (Ouch!). But I strongly believe that mastering one style is enough mixture as it is.

wrestling with jui jitsu, great combo. Get your opponent to the ground and submit him, whatever happens you control the fight as long as the fight is on the ground.

I train in Muay Thai and BJJ. I'd like to train at a Burmese boxing gym or a Sambo gym as well.

Also Shootboxing.

Another fighting thread... this is fun.

The best mixture are Kung Fu and Wu Shu. You can also include hadouken and kamehame wave if you like.

Aikido - A defensive martial arts that requires less physical energy to counter attack.

Eskrima - My martial art of choice involving weapons especially knives. Since knives are easy to obtain and conceal, it is probably one of the best concealed weapon that you can carry around in the streets.
