Episode 22, not much happened in this episode however, I will do my best to summarize my thoughts about it <_<.

Basically, Ryuuji, Kitamara, Minori, and everyone else is back at school, however, Taiga is absent due to her injuries. She is currently living with her real mother who she is in good terms with.

Episode 22 demonstrates all that I have been arguing all along, that Ryuuji NEEDS Taiga in his life. As you can see, hes beginning to realize his feelings for Taiga and acted pretty much hopeless when she wasn't around for the duration of the episode. Towards the end of the episode when Taiga and Ryuuji reunite, not only does he become extremely happy and relieved to see her, he openly shows his feelings by stating his upset that she didn't call him and he was getting really worried about her. Taiga went to his place because she lost her apartment keys so she wanted to use Ryuuji's room window to get in through her own window, and Ryuuji was trying to find whatever opportunity he could to keep her there, simply because he really wanted to be with her. He even shed small tears over the relief of seeing her. There were so many other instances in this episode that are highlight worthy regarding Ryuuji's deep care for Taiga but I'll leave it at that. I think this episode was another big turning point in the story, which where we can now openly see Ryuuji's surfacing feelings for Taiga, that of which I've predicted all along. Not that it wasn't obvious from the start of the series anyway

Yea the episode was mostly setting up what would be dealt with in the final three episodes: Ryuuji's future career, and his feelings for Taiga. These episodes normally aren't that great, but I feel they are necessary in order to show how the characters work out their problems.

Next episode is Valentines day, so what better time for a relationship to develop?

Yeah, this episode at a first glance is not as good as the others, but as terra was explaining, there are quite some good parts in this, mainly the part where Taiga comes over. IMO, i think this episode was like the full turning point of Ryuuji's feelings (Putting away the hairclip that he was supposed to give Minori and tears close to the end). In short, I beleive Ryuuji likes Taiga now.

but that's just my opinion

Honestly there are no highlights that I could find in this episode that really affected the series, however Minorin says that she won't hesitate anymore... No idea what that was supposed to mean... yet.

I think what it means when Minorin says she won't hesitate anymore is that she won't hesitate to go after Ryuuji now even though her best friend Taiga likes him and Ami likes him too.
The part when Minorin and Ami have that chat besides the vending machines would probably be one of the turning points for me.

Now there's going to be like a love triangle/square however you look at it.

Minorin + Taiga + Ami all like Ryuuji and now Minorin won't hold back anymore so there's probably gonna be a bitch fight?

Ami's probably out of the chase because she hasn't really appealed to Ryuuji in the boyfriend/girlfriend kind of relationship.

Only Minorin and Taiga are in the chase now but after watching episode 22, most people would think that Taiga is winning and probably going to win and since this is probably a romantic comedy where the main male character ends up with the female character, it heightens the chance of that happening.

But there still is a possibility Minorin will end up with Ryuuji but only if he can respark the love he had for her again.

Something still tells me Minorin will confess to Taiga. I'm probably wrong but that's what my gut is telling me
