i <3 WG but I dont think they'll do very well...i could be wrong..its just my opinion...
I just feel like their music is not well suited to the US market..

They need to learn how to speak english right.
None of this " i really wanna touch myself" nonsense.

I think they will do well
here is a pic from BoA's
release party on Feb. 28, 2009 in
Los Angeles. It was crazy
packed

And Kollaberation 9 was also
a success, sold out event at
the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles!

JYP Tour 2009 also had crazy amount
of people in Los Angeles & La Mirada don't
know about the one in New York but from
what I hear it's a sold out event also!

And the people attending were not all Asian,
me included
So the need is their they just need to perform &
have good PR people

yeh everyone has a point. if they improve in their english they can do good, but the AMERICAN market has a lot of surprises in store for them. but who knows, they might be able to touch the US market, like they touch their international fans. good luck to them!

I don't think it's impossible for them to have the success of either Shakira(debuted @ #3, sold 3.5 million) or Tokio Hotel(who debuted at 39 in the US and only sold 109k copies). but they're gonna have to come with something that makes them stand out. If they're only offering "manufactured" artists with mediocre vocals, then no one will pay them any mind. America is already saturated label created pop-tarts.

this is more of a racist issue than a talent issue. Many western countries do not embrace Asians.

In my opinion, the best they can do will probably be 'okay'. That's only if they are able to speak absolutely FLUENT english and if their songs are going to have to "wow" the americans. I don't think the 'cute' image will work in america either... I'm guessing most americans will just be creeped out by it. ><"

they can all debut there, but their chances of making it big is not as likely.

thing is.. they need their songs played on the radio and on tv for them to gain more fans.. and usually.. not many if at all radio stations or tv programs endorse them.
