for me,
1. Fil teenagers nowadays are beginning to learn Korean language(in particular)
2. They imitate their favorite Asian actors
3. They talk about Asian celebs alot and compare these celebs with Filipino ones
4. They tend to imitate korean cultures, like in our school, our P.E teacher required us to bow half our
body when greeting people...(like in Korean dramas.)
I think there are still more. Hope I helped you..

the peace sign. we all know that we filipinos are not the origin of the peace sign, when we're posing on pictures. we inherited them from the asian dramas that were aired in the phils.

yep.. agree. its good that SOME OF US learn korean language.. but its no use for the good of the country...
yep watching Taiwanese, JAPANESE and KOREAN drama's are fun to watch.. we like them. its also because our showbiz industry doesnt know how to make quality movies/dramas (esp. gma/abscbn although im a kapamilya) so we incline into other stuffs..

it isnt bad actually. its just that our nationality, and love for our country is affected.
although although although.. i love being asian.:))
now i lost my point..

study study study. english:))

ps. im not generalizing.. all those people here in crunchyroll likes to watch asian..dramas
there are other people who watch WESTERN dramas.. (GG, 90210, laguna beach, OTH etc.)

~ some habits of asian actors/actresses.
~ they know how to speak in japanese/korean/mandarin.
~ they know a lot about asian industry compared to the philippine's..
~ they are no longer in filipino REMAKES! and they just hate soo many filipino actors/actresses.. (well.. not really HATE but dislike)
~ they are no longer that interested with american/english movies or dramas.. cuz they're into asian dramas! yay! (like me.. i'll just sleep)
~ they are willing to sacrifice their studies/homeworks just to finish the drama that they're watching.. (sometimes, it can result to decreasing of grades) - like me!
~ one of their dreams/goals in life is to go to JAPAN/KOREA/TAIWAN to see their asian idols..
~ they wish that their uniforms might be like the uniforms in JAPAN or KOREA..
~ they like to fall in love with guys/girls that has similarity with their asian crushes..

WOAH. CHINCHA. Same here girl. Honestly, I plan to travel Korea by myself in the near future. I plan to work there. Here I've tried to work as an English tutor to Koreans. However, being a non-native English teacher makes it difficult. I also have active friends in Korea too. I text them and I exchange emails every now and then. This is me after I got hooked on Korean dramas in that case.

Japanese, i like too. I had japanese lessons when I was in high school. It was part of our school's curriculum though. And I began to appreciate the beauty of Nihonggo after getting hooked in Jdoramas as well. I want to have a mobile phone from japan (just like the mobile phone of my close friend whose mom is in Japan. She'll try to have one ordered for me yey.)

Yeah. I'm one of those FANATICS of Asian dramas. It changed my life really. This is the "IMPACT" as you could say.

WEIRD, but THIS IS ME... :P

oh i did a research about this 2 years ago but I made it very specific and got samples from my school....

making a paper about the effects of dramas to Filipino teenagers in the country...

isn't it too broad? i mean...you should know what you want as an outcome...

Teenagers in the country are diverse...you might end up getting a lot information but sorting it out would be strenuous...

Just be more specific....

God Bless on your project!!!

and Have fun..I'm sure you will..

I did...

knowing more about the people that share the same interest as you have is the greatest...
