Only with family or very close friend, and we kiss the cheek for greeting, it's not shame doing that, y'know

im half French and whenever i visit the family
we get kissed on the cheek by everyone XD

I greet some boys with a cheek kiss ._. But because it isn't really done here, I try not too, and I use the fact I'm French as an excuse (even though being French doesn't mean anything, I just pretend I think it to be acceptable)

I greet a few of my older relatives with a kiss on the cheek. Other than that, I usually just bless them or say Hey or whatever.

I think it's ok as long as it's just on the cheek. Most of my family and some of the friends greet that way, but it's acctually more like touching of the cheeks rather than an acctual kiss on the cheek.
