yup..here if you don't hug or kiss on the cheek, it's considered arrogance and rudeness..
we kiss each other as a greeting also when leave ...

Depends on where you are in the world.
Back in Sweden usually handshake when you first meet someone then a hug to your friends.
My culture isn't Swedish though, we kiss on the cheek (2-3 times). Sometimes only to female relatives.
To my friends I usually kiss them on the cheek or hug them if I haven't seen them in a while bu tot those I see often I just go: 'sup
