everyone does it here. On the cheek. But I don't kiss as a greeting. People just don't have to come that close

I don't kiss as a greeting, but I don't think it is gross or weird. In some cultures it is normal to kiss friends and family when you greet them (like in many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean countries). The kisses have no sexual connotations and are appropriate, it's just how the culture operates.

kiss on the lip? or kiss on the cheek ?
i greet some people (who really close with me) by kissing on the cheek but this is just sometime
never have really greet ANYONE (beside by baby cousin & BF) by lips before LMAO.

i prefer hugs.

uh ya all the time.

im french so if i didnt kiss people on the cheek they would think i was acting rude.

you also have to make sure you kiss both cheeks or else your also acting rude.

In many cultures kissing as a greeting is the norm. I'm Cuban, and we kiss people all the time. It doesn't mean anything romantic.
