well, i saw watchman today, and there was a part where someone was blown up, and the blood, and gore looked so grotesque, and disgusting, hanging from the cieling, on other people, it was just beautiful to me.
whats something so sick, its beautiful? or is it possible?

oh my god! ur so cool, I used to think i was a freak cause that gorey stuff is sooo HOT to me xDDD
Great to know, more people out there *high 5!*

Dude, he didn't say he got off on it, just that he could see the beauty in it. Calm down.

dude, im a chick.

"He" is the appropriate term to use when one is uncertain of another's gender or for use in general reference, it's generic though male. It's the same as saying she or he, that person, they, etc, etc, don't get upset over proper grammar.

jesus christ, im just pointing out (since you couldnt tell from my profile pic) i am a girl, you dont need to have a heart attack for christs sake.

I have no problem with it. Whether it's beautiful or not is your opinion and you are entitled to that.

Well if it looks cool, it looks cool. It has more to do with how realistic it is. The more it looks like real guts hanging
on the ceiling, the more it attracts-or at least that's what I think. It's not that its beautiful, it's appealing.

Guys, stay away from the OP...

In the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

Elfen Lied is a series that is beautiful in it brutality and the fact that the character rise above it.

oh come on will everyone just give up and admit that elfen lied was low rent b-movie crap

Mnemosyne was far superior

Elfen Lied was great, what are you talking about? Just because your taste in anime obviously sucks, does not mean that a great anime is any less great.

BTW: are you named for the character or the band??

character. was one of the first ainme's i saw back in the day.... 13 years ago!

not a big fan of the band, they are a bit like a rubbish mar volta. i assume you discovered this when you googled my name, not because you like the band

I love Gundam Wing, Gundam in general, and Zechs/Milliardo is one of my all time favorite characters, much improved art since Char, I'd learned of the band at some point, so when I saw your name I wasn't sure which you were a fan of.

im not so much a fan of the later stuff, its all a bit repetitive. i liked the way the plot subtly references our internal struggle with the greater good and the individual act of destroying lives, and how zechs is driven behind a mask to protect not his identity but his sanity

Well, it's all the retelling of the original, that's all GUndam is. Zech's, Char, they're the same characters that do the exact same thing for the exact same reason, and there is always that same character symbolized by the fact that he hides his face, etc. At least in Wing, Heero and Zechs didn't fight each other for fifteen years straight like in the original. Ugh.

haha its strange though, despite really liking wing, i don't really like robot anime. i liked xenogears (which wasn't anime exactly, was an anime style playstation game) the plots generally never go anywhere, because the writers are obsessed with battle sequences and and the special abilities of each bot. Even animes which try to be different such dragonauts started promisingly but was awful after about 5 episodes

Full Metal Panic is good. Um, other than that i tend to stay away from robot anime as well.

Eureka Seven is suppose to be really good though, and I'm pretty sure it has robots.

I grow weary of saying this but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

you can look past the imoral thing of someone dying and find the beauty in it, its a good thing in my opinion its nice to know im not alone
