Yeah I had a hard time with that one too, it's so long right? And nothing exciting, well Chopper had a really nice fight but that was the highlight to me, and Enel's face after realizing his electricity doesn't work on Luffy lol classic

The Luffy vs Enel fights are very interesting and funny, but I still dunno what really happens yet. Yes, I upload the episodes and I should know, but my computer is just so crappy that it can't play .mp4 files.

So really, if I didn't want to see One Piece all that bad, I wouldn't be uploading them

Edit: By the way, its taking longer than usual for the episodes to be encoded, I hope they don't fail, because I'll have to upload them all over again! I'm tired of waiting dammit >.<

The fact that you replied to me saying that you live under a rock already proves that it got to you. The reason why One Piece is bad is
A. unoriginal
Luffy is a young boy who wants to be the king of the pirates.
This can be compared to many htings like:
-Ash wanting to be the very best pokemon trainer
-Naruto wanting to be the very best hokage
-Azuma wanting to be the best baker
and many others.
As well as the entire eating a fruit gives you a super power thing.

B. The whole entire series is practically filler.
Remind me why they had to fight captian Kuro . No reason at all. They just threw in a ship at the end and got lucky. Why did they have to go to Alabasta? No reason some chick just wanted to be dropped off. I am exaggerating thigns a bit, but when you get to the core of it, no one is trying out how to find the treasure in the grand line. Nothing is ever related to finding one piece. The first episodes could practically be considered filler too if it wasn't for the fact that they got a crew mate out of it.

C. Stale fighting sequences.
No one even attempts to block. Luffy just stretches his arms out and then the people just get knocked out and fly away.

D. The animation is poorly done
Usaf's nose is huge and the you have oddly proportioned people. Luffy is supposedly strong, but if he is strong, how come when he retracts his arms to normal he looks like a twig?

E. Grossly overrated
Much like Naruto, this is grossly overrated. People proclaim that it is the best anime ever seen, but it is still grossly overrated. Sales and polls don't mean a thing because any Tom, Dick annd Yamada can vote for them. They can vote for them even if its the only anime they have ever seen in their lives. One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach have the best advertising, but that is about it. Bleach I would admit though is one of the best Shounen anime out there, but that only proves how overrated the shounen genre is.

Admittedly though, One Piece is better than Naruto because in One Piece they don't try to change any circumstances or kill you with corny lines. Hopefully Luffy will never say "My way of the pirate." He says something similar to that, but its not corny at all. Naruto also supposedly tries to make the bad guys seem like they had a reason for doing bad things, but in the end its poorly done and is shoved in at the last 30 seconds of their life. The reasons Naruto uses are dumb too. I am gonna become a mass murderer because I am lonely.

You dont realize it do you? I am not 100 percent sure but ever since i saw the eposide where he went to were he was killed. I was betting he was not acutally talking about a treasure, but more of how he became a great pirate or his son i havent made up made up my mind, but i know it is not like a super power or a treasure like gold.

im guessing those scores are due to the fact that it aired during the time kids would be coming home and it was on CN right? so maybe its becuase that is the only anime they knew

I think that is true as well, but they aren't even trying to figure what One Piece is. Even if the journey is the treasure of becoming the greatest pirate, they do not know that and do nothing to at least find what they think one piece is.

Mainly, I think its because no one knows what One Piece actually is, but all of the pirates are assuming that its just some huge treasure that makes it worthy of being owned by the Pirate King. However, its becoming very clear to me that One Piece will be a very small treasure, if at all tangible. Since the main themes with One Piece are about dreams and protecting dear treasures, I imagine it will be something like a hat, or some note with a vague message.

Though, with all of the Nico Robin and the Rio Poneglyph things, One Piece could be something huge along those lines. Once the "forbidden history" is learned or whatever, the series will definitely begin to close.

Besides, all of the pirates are really dumb. I think they're all doing the ask questions later bit.

Yeah the series does drag on a lot I think some parts are just soooo long and boring but it always is worth seeing all the dumb episodes cuz some good episodes bring your interest back to the series and I am pretty sure that in the end luffy has to battle the crew of Gold D Roger

And yes you do have some interesting points and I do respect your opinion cause I got lots of friends like you too, I love OP and Naruto, but I'm guessing you're more of the advanced anime type, liking the more realistic and deeper ones like Monster yeah?

I think liking something that has realism and depth should be a standard because that is what makes anime anime. A cartoon with depth and realism.
