Dude Chopper is awesome!!! Don't diss Chopper he's my fav character, after Zoro of course, well Chopper defeats the priest with an awesome attack, Split-Hoof Cross or sumthin, sweet KO. And the world government saga is freakin cool, it of course has it's boring parts too but still, it's really awesome and exciting. CP9 pwns.

All these anime noob fanboys unleashed on the Internet, almost made me hate anime.
They are giving lame shows exaggerrated ratings, now the stuff that gets recommended to me is cartoonish crap. Like One Piece.

That's why people think anime is the same as cartoons. Anime can be defended because they they have depth.

srsly though, this anime is amazing..not many filler episodes (boo naruto), and it has a fantastic story line. Many unanswered questions..starts off a little slow but it gets CRAZY

If you don't like One Piece then why do you post here anyway? Just to ruin for us others? If you spent the time you just spent dissing One Piece you could've watched a lil of your fav anime y'know.

You obviously haven't watched too much of One Piece. The art style may be different compared to most anime, but so what? The story is just so compelling, and funny that I don't give a crap what other people think. There is a reason why it is one of the most popular anime/manga ever made!

If One Piece is a cartoon rather than anime, One Piece is the best cartoon I have ever had the joy of watching.

The art style is comical, but I let that slide. I watch even black and white films and can appreciate a story no matter what it looks like.

But the story is pretty aimless, (I think they really don't ever want to find that treasure, they just like selling mangas), and the traumatized characters tell their story for so many fillers, it looses that punch.

In other words it has the same problems of Inuyasha, and if you know Inuyasha, you know that their fans are completely illogical.
And manga sales have nothing to with anything, the best media is often a disturbing-as-hell message(completely unpopular with mainstream entertainment). Why do you think 4Kids buys these shows, they can get access to naive audiences with wacky, popular shows *cough* Pokemon, Barney *cough*.

If you want something light and fun with a point try Outlaw Star or Trigun. They are hilarious even in their dead-on seriousness. And I think someone said Desert Punk had some action but was funny.

My point is stop advertising substandard shows, especially LONG substandard shows. People will be pissed if they watch for too long without content.

i just started to read the manga one piece pretty good so far.

I don't like One Peice.I thought it was really stupid.
