i wonder why committing suicide is the nearest option for some korean stars..
i heard there were soo many korean actresses that have committed suicide in the past few years..
i really wonder why.. `coz here in the philippines, actors/actresses doesn't commit suicide with just a reason.. they just die if they have illnesses..
but somehow.. even if i don't know who's this actress.. still i feel sad..
this way of death isn't easy.. it's a waste.. life should be taken bravely and should be taken care of..
if you'll live your life in a way that it seems you're the only one in this world who's facing a particular problem..
than you'll not succeed.. committing suicide isn't the answer of your problems.. it's just a show off to the people around you that you aren't brave enough and that you don't have the guts to live a life of happiness, bravery and freedom..

phew--i wish she was stronger....I guess if you were her---you wouldn't quit suicide...
but..the thing is we are all different---we handle problems diff...e.g..some cope with problems/sit. easily, while some wrestle with problems for years......In addition, we have different experience---e.g one may take experiences positively, while others take it negatively...
imao,it's useless to appeal to a person what she should had done with her life...
.the utmost thing we can do is to understand the person (or her situation) and learn from that person's exampl/ experience....

lesson learned from her: like what 've said in my prev. post: Suicide is not the answer.

may be she has lived her life bravely, but i guess, she has reached her limit

its true it actually depends on the personality of the person... we can't say that she should not have done this directly because it was her own decision to do so... but for it was really a sad thing, suicide is not the best option to solver her problems.. it even gets more worse...

koreans & japanese, basically on statistics have the highest morality rate due to suicide, way back before suicide is a brave thing to do and honorable at the same time especially for japanese samurai's & warriors...

let us just give our sincere condolence to her and her family..

The entertainment world has got to be one of the hardest industries to be in. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen, but its just sad that she chose to commit suicide rather than staying strong. I know its easier said than done, but suicide should always NOT be an option. The entertainment industry is hard core, painfully honest and incredibly difficult to get into. May her soul Rest in Peace.

you've got a point...
somehow...
it's really sad to die in a suicide...
it's like killing the life God has given to you...
life is somehow a gift you can understand when you overcome your fears in life...

agreed....
that is why i sometimes d0nt understand why people c0mmit suicide....

let her soul rest in peace....

well, some people just don't see a way out
they're so stuck in that negative spiral that they think nothing can be worse than living :(
but it really saddens me she had a sister who loved her and that even that couldn't stop her from ending it.

She should`ve seeked help from everyone . I`m sure a lot of people would`ve helped her .
She shouldn`t have killed herself . She should`ve taken a long break to relax herself .

May she rest in peace .

this is the notes

More Updates On Jang Ja Yeon's Death

A reporter for the Hankyoreh recently examined the allegations that before her suicide Jang Ja-yeon compiled documents accusing important members of the entertainment world of systematic abuses of their authority.

The names of over 10 people are included in notes believed to have been written by talent Jang Ja-yeon (29) before her death, saying, “for almost one year my agency has forced me to drink alcohol and have sex.” Police are investigating those mentioned in the notes to determine if the allegations are true.

It was revealed on the 15th that in the notes, written on four sheets of A4 paper and given to police by KBS, Jang Ja-yeon accused 40-year old Mr. Kim, a member of her talent agency, of forcing her to drink and have sex with him, and also with television producers and high-ranking members of the media. A member of the police said, “the notes contain the names of over 10 people who forced Ms. Jang to engage in those activities. They explain how some of them ‘made me sit with them rather than drinking’.” The KBS report said the notes include the sentences, “(agency representative) Mr. Kim forced me to engage in such activities on countless occasions,” “In September 2008 I was called to a room salon… I had to sleep with him,” and “one of the managers made me go on a golf trip with him to Thailand, drink and play golf with him, to be in the drama.”

Police say it appears Ms. Jang produced the notes with the aim of creating “evidence of the truth”. The front page says “This is the Complete Record of Wrongs Done to the Actress Jang Ja-yeon” (배우 장자연의 종합적인 피해사례입니다), and includes Ms. Jang’s name, citizen’s identification number, and her personal seal. It was announced that the notes also include an identifying stamp on each page.

Those in the broadcasting and entertainment worlds say that the struggle over Ms. Jang is the background to the appearance of the notes. 29-year old Mr. Yu, Ms. Jang’s former manager and a member of the H talent agency, told police on the 13th that, “two weeks before Ms. Jang died she came to me, told me everything that was happening to me and gave me the notes in her handwriting, so they could go to her family.” He doubted that her death was a simple suicide. Once Mr. Yu released some of the notes to the media, he attempted suicide in his officetel. After Mr. Kim hired Ms. Jang, he quit the agency in December and Mr. Yu worked under Mr. Kim, but in the middle of last year founded his own agency. On the subject, Mr. Kim claimed, “I filed four lawsuits against Mr. Yu, and he is doing this to fight them.”

With police investigating to confirm whether the notes were actually written by Ms. Jang, they plan to call in her family and manager to verify the accuracy of their contents. Police announced that they are investigating on the theory that there is a high probability that further notes remain, saying, “Mr. Yu is claiming that Ms. Jang drew up the papers herself, but this may not be how they reached police.”

Police say the contents of the notes revealed so far may provide evidence for extortion, assault, abuse of authority, and bribery charges. Of those accused in the notes of forcing Ms. Jang to drink and have sex, police said, “after the verification of the notes, charging decisions will be made in the public interest and a public announcement made,” indicating that a careful attitude is being taken. On the 14th police searched Ms. Jang’s home and former and present agencies, seizing 12 computers and 59 documents.
