Whenever I have ice cream at home, I microwave it until it's hot.
My teeth are sensitive to cold, and it tastes better to me anyhow.

I used to do that, but the ice cream I buy now is usually soft enough that you don't have to.

I'm stunned by the number of "why would I do that" responses.

Well if you've never done it and you plan on trying it, do for like 10 seconds at a time to be safe. It melts a hell of a lot faster in the microwave than it refreezes in the freezer. It doesn't refreeze into quite its original form either.

Haha I didn't know other people did that....I don't microwave to melt it. I just like warm cake so I put them both in the microwave together for a few seconds.
