I don't like to associate myself with any kind of drama at school because it always involves rumors, bad mouthing in public, random fights, etc. And I think it's dumb.

Just now I got a text from a friend that basically said that she needs to talk to me and that it's too important to write on a text. Now I'm pulling out my hair (Not literally) trying to figure out what happened. And she's not one who calls people.

So what I'm wondering is:

- What do you think of adolescent problems?

- What are the causes in your opinion? (Rumors, boredom, ...)

- Give an example, if you can, about a time where it happened to you or a friend.

- How do you deal with getting rid of problems like that?

- How do you avoid it?

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I've checked if there are any topics related to this one and found nothing.

People who start fights in school just wants attention cause they feel insecure. I never participate in these stuff. When they bad mouth you, ignore them. It'll make them rage more

I hate rumors. There is one guy who envied that I am quite close to his girl, he talked to everyone that I am gay and I was flirting with a guy so everyone went behind my back talked about me. I got pissed off thou but everyone doesn't trust him since I am straight. IS JUST PLAIN STUPID for things like that.

lol i think school drama is hilarious.

my friend always tells me about drama going on. one time she told me that this one kid, who sits next to me on the bus, is going out with his ex-girlfriend's "enemy". which i thought was just hilarious. i know his ex too lol but not her enemy.

then another time i was walking outside with her and we passed near this one group of asian kids, and she's like "don't look at them!!! they might think we're dating." lol i thought that was hilarious too.

I try to stay out of a drama. That's why I keep my friends to a minimum. And if they do start shit, then I just kick them out of my circle. It's real easy to deal with drama.

Drama would stop if ppl knew how to keep there mouth shut. Everybody wants to get into others ppls problems. All you have to do is go to school. You don't have to talk to anybody. Just do your own thing. But you can't because ppl will judge you by the things you do. It's like we have to pose for everybody just to make it though life. I think its bull. If you don't like then don't talk to me. But i hate ppl who but in.

-What do you think of adolescence problems?

Ugh, its a part of every adolescent's life. What's life without problems eh?

-What are the causes in your opinion? (Rumors, boredom, ...)

Hormones, drastic physical changes, uncontrolled emotions, stupid parents who don't know how to be parents, a crush/love interest, a search for meaning/purpose, the sensation of being popular and lot of things.

-Give an example, if you can, about a time where it happened to you or a friend.

Hmm, drama at school, as I remembered in high school I and the gang don't concern ourselves with the problems of the outside world. We meditate in this happy place called the "Playstation kingdom." There we endlessly waste hours and hours of fun in games and discussion of games. Those were the times.

TOTALLY agree. XD

School drama is funny as heck. It's probably the only thing that's interesting about school itself.
I hate getting into any sort of drama. I hate getting "involved".

There never were any cases of drama where me or my friends were involved at all. We like to keep low-key. XD We're like nobodies. lol!
So we don't really need to avoid the drama! It just natural repels us.

hmm I most of the time ''try'' to avoid fights, but sometimes you just can't hold it in and then you're fighting with a loser

about drama

I'm to carefree to care about that

Adolescence problems are a nuisance, but they're part of growing up.

There are a variety of causes. Most of these problems deal with friendships or bfs/gfs. It doesn't necessarily have to be a rumor, just gossip in general. Teens who don't have self-confidence like to put others down, and may make up a rumor. Others are just bigmouths and like to spread any dirt they can get. And then there are those who want attention and create drama about themselves.Personally, I think the school environment, where you're closely interacting with a large number of people all the time helps to contribute.

An example....

You deal with drama by ignoring it. It's only drama when somebody cares, and people only care if they see it affects you. Once they see you don't give a shit, it dies down.

You can avoid drama by not hanging around people who are bigmouths, backstabbers, or needy for attention. If a friend is in drama, and is trying to get you involved, politely say you don't need this and you'd prefer to stay neutral.

School drama?

- What do you think of adolescence problems? Makes schoolday more interesting?? I don't know..

- What are the causes in your opinion? (Rumors, boredom, ...) Don't (wanna) know . ( mostly, the girls are doing this kinda stuff )

- Give an example, if you can, about a time where it happened to you or a friend. Well, you know how girls are, especialy when the rumor goes that a boy/guy likes this girl.. well, this chick had heard from her friend that I liked her, wich wasn't true. She embarresed herself infront of all other student, when she said: " I LIKE YOU 2 " Unfortunatly, she didn't take it very good, when I told her I had no feelings towards her. Since that day, I'm cursed by a weird-psyco-freaky-stalker.. .

- How do you deal with getting rid of problems like that? Well.. as you can read, I'm CURSED. I'm not good at solving problems, anyway.

- How do you avoid it? Wish I could ..
