Best Buy No longer sells anime
Posted 3/13/09
As the title says i find it funny that the only place that I can go and buy anime where I live besides walmart (which sucks) is no longer selling anime at all =_=. To be honest I really do not buy that much anime but when I do I like to know there is a good selection to choose from and show my support for a series I really like. Another thing is I really do not like to buy online because of all the identity theft but it looks like I have no choice now and the only sites I can recomend are BUY.com, EBAY, HALF.com, Amazon and if you google (anime stores) then you will find some other small internet buissenes that sell them =_= sigh oh well.
Oh here is a Link to the article if you want to read it

Do Bestbuy even make profit from selling anime products?

I don't live in the US so I don't know.

My local Best Buy has an enormous anime section =O Biggest in town in fact. It must be like four complete rows of shelves. It would be really sad if I went in to buy and found those shelves empty

i didn't know best buy used to sell anime lol...

well if you live in houston then there are some japanese stores near places new chinatown/little saigon and koreatown. there's one that sells cute japanese clothes for girls. another one sells a shitload of japanese crap like pocky, toys, domo dolls, hundreds of different hello kitty keychains, and other useless stuff people like to collect. there's also a few manga/anime stores around. there's a few asian entertainment stores around too that sell taiwanese, chinese, japanese, and korean music/movies/dramas on dvds. my friend just bought the super junior comeback album yesterday lol.

Huh. Wow. Uh, well, I don't really care because I never shop at Bestbuy and I hardly by anime DVDs. If I do I wait for a series I really love and for there to be some kind of collection release so I can get everything in one shot for a good price. :O
