I've been seen these historical drama which is produce from KOREAN television (forgot what network) but as i've seen this drama, each of them has different concept and different way of making the drama more challenging and believable. But what makes me feel doubtful is that, from the jumong history (i wonder if its true story) thru the king deamusin and now the princess of Ja Myung. Correct me if i am wrong, it was a continuation of the historical of jumong, king of deamusin and the princess ja myung.but the story of jumong thru king of deamusin seems to be the continuation, what i mean is, King Myu hul in the kingdom of the winds seems to be strong and willful and nice. but how come when it was in the PRINCESS OF JA MYUNG, the king of deamusin MYU HUL seems to me that he's has been changed and greedy. and it's different though.

EVEN THOUGHT THE STORY OF PRINCESS JA MYUNG IS A WAY DIFFERENT HISTORY FROM THE OTHER BUT THEY'RE ALL KOREAN HISTORY AND WHY IS IT THAT THE CHARACTER OF EACH HISTORICAL PERSON ARE CHANGE?
ARE THEY REALLY TRUE STORY? OR THEY JUST MADE UP!A love story about Princess Nak-rang who fell in love with a spy from Goguryeo. She tore the drums of her country so that Goguryeo could attack her country, Nangnang-guk, without warning. However, Nak-rang's love story with Hodong is further complicated due to the fact that Nak-rang's older sister Ja Myung is in love with Hodong as well.

All 3 series are about legends. No one can be sure of what really went on around 2000 years ago. The characters in these series are merely interpretations of characters in history, and historians or historiographers all have different opinion and viewpoint. Even in real life, people rarely remain the same throughout their lives. Daemusin could change, but no one can ever be sure. The actors are only acting out their parts as written in the scripts, and the script-writers are trying to make their stories fit for TV productions, so they add details and "paint" their characters the way they think is going to be interesting to the viewers.

The thing about rulers/heroes in history is that they are usually glorified by their "fans". However, where there are "fans", there will certainly be "anti-fans", and this is why a character can appear as an ideal person in one series, and a not-so-good person in the next. Daemusin is an example.

[Jumong - MBC; Kingdom of the Wind - KBS2; Princess Ja Myung Go - SBS]
