I've only had one red-ring on me. I bought it six months after the 360 first launched. It red-ringed three years later and Gears of War 2 was gonna release in a month. I bought an Arcade version a week later and I've had it ever since.

I've only had two 360s. My first one never red-ringed on me, but I broke it a different way and we won't go into that. I have one of the new slim models now, and I miss my old one because I couldn't use my 120GB HDD on the slim. I had to sell it. Made me a little frustrated.

my first 360 rrod about 15 days after the warrenty ended. My 250gb slim is still kicking with no problems at all.

I have one of the first elite 360's and it still hasn't shown any sign of getting rrod but I did have to replace the rubber band that opens the disc drive. That was the only problem it ever had.

In the past 7 years two xbox 360 had red ring and died on me...both for different reasons. Currently on my third xbox. I'm hoping this one will last me till the new one comes out

I happen to a very loyal 360 owner and have 4 X360's that still run fine out of a 5th that was a first gen console that E74'd instead of RROD. I never have owned a RROD console, although I have fixed them for my friends through Xbox Support.

my 1st xbox red ringed the summer of 09. (i own a slim now cause the disc drive broke on the other one) I was sad at first because it takes 3 months to fix, but thank god i had a PS2 at the time. I was playing Xenogears and Shadow of the Colossus for hours on end. Even today with all these new Games coming out like Skyrim and Farcry 3, i cant even name any two better games than the two that i played that summer.
