I've had my 360 since it first came out... never RROD till about 2 months ago... lol... 13-3 light rings since then... Since i have NO warranty on it i decided to rip it apart and makes some tweaks... no RROD for me for now. Still sounds like a BEAST though haha

My 360 has yet to get the red ring even though according to the list of things that could cause the red ring I was doing a lot of things I shouldn't have been.

Up till now 3 of them. 1st one was a Falcon, second one a new falcon with AS on the GPU, X-clamp removed and many other improvents... and the third one was the 2nd falcon after RROD resurrection.

So far only once.
I managed to get a free repair from Microsoft and then quickly traded in the repaired 360 (falcon set I think) for credit towards one of the new Arcade units back in February '09 (It's a Jasper unit or whatever they're called.) It is working swimmingly so far. And quiet, too!

Ugh, my xbox 360 has failed me so many times! I'm having a hard time giving it up though, because I love the games so much. TT_TT
Edit: Psssh, I forgot to throw my number of times it's let me down. Hmmm, 4 or 5 times.

6 yeah i know horrible it was all because me and my brother shared an Xbox for a while but then i got my own(Halo 3 Edition) =D and mine has only got 1 so far, So 7 in total =(

I got those damnable red rings on my 360 once right before christmas, I had to call the repair people, then wait for them to send me a box so I could ship it out to the place all the way in Texas I live in Massachusets, it was obnoxious but luckily it was free and the guy I talked to on the phone was very nice and professional and they had the problem fixed and my xbox back to me in a relatively short time, got it back before christmas at least |
