The more you hate, the less you love. I guess. It depends on what you hate and how passionate you are about hating it. If you have such enmity to something, eventualy that hate will superceed all the love you had for things and people. Soon you'll just be a ball of swirling hatred.
Least thats what i think, I've seen it happen before.

i think its very possible (in some cases) that the more you hate someone the more you love them because the more you hate someone the more you actually care about what they do and it just annoys you that they are being that way,

where as if you truly hated them what they did wouldn't concern you i.e. "they can jump off a cliff for all i care"

or if you truly loved them you would care about their differrences but still love them despite of them

The opposite of love is not hate, so... possible, but it isn't the case 100% of the time.

I totally agree, I remember I totally hated my ex-bf, and now that I look back.....I don't know why I liked him, and became his girlfriend in the end.
Same thing happened with some of my friends. I annoyed him when I first met him, he totally hated me, and all I did was poke him.
My current boyfriend hated me too >.>....He found me annoying, extremely annoying, and doesn't even understand why he fell for me in the end.

This statement is very vague and implies conclusions that are not true. I think a more accurate statement would be that it is usually true that unreasonably hating another person or his actions (especially of the other sex), can be an indication of linking/loving them that is manifested in an unreasonable dislike for certain actions of theirs stemming from an over-analysis of their actions.

However, your original statement implies absurd conclusions, such as the fact that someone who hates a person that did something horrible to them (for example, an abusive boss) actually love/like them.

Hate is a strong word. And I personally think that hate takes more then loving someone.
But it's possible to start off as hating someone and then loving them as much, but quicker. (make sense? )

This is such a strange forum O.o but I gotta say I disagree. The more I try to like my bf ex's I just wanna smack them and make then bleed. No joke Janet his ex. is effin annoying and keeps flattering her eyelashes at him [even when she lives in Aussie] she still wants him for unreasons. I can't love her and I think I never will. ROFL.
