Veteran trot singer and business man Lee Chang Young committed suicide at home in the early hours of March 12th and was later discovered by his family members. According to reports, 38-year-old Lee had undergone immense pressure from going bankrupt in his failed business venture in the current recession. Eventually he buckled and decided to hang himself.

This comes right after BOF’s Jang Ja Yeon tragedy and continues the frightening trend of artists committing suicide. Yet received little noticed since he was not as famous.

Lee Chang Young’s body is currently resting at a hospital in Kyungki-do and the burial took place on the 14th.

I've have been noticing alot of suicides in the Korean Entertainment so far, all of them facing alot of pressure and anxiety. So far you have to look at the situation where Kim Hyun Joong is going, you heard the news about him swallowing like 12 sleeping pills and the stress he had while filming Boys over Flowers (I never watch one episode but I know Kim Hyun Joong through We Got Married)

These days managers need to watch over their clients, and make more time for relaxation rather than a pack schedule.

These Korean celebs need to loosen up. Sure, other people are putting pressure on them and making them stressed, but the stars don't do anything about it. They need to know their limits. It's hard to believe they didn't think there was another option besides killing themselves.

omg he really did? this is my first time hearing about it. Eh, the price of fame. can't feel any sympathy for the guy.

people need to start learning how to deal with pressure and their emotions. Everybody has their hard times in their life, but learning how to overcome that and become stronger is the best thing you can do. Life is a lot about hurdles and challenges that God gives us. It's just a shame that he quit. R.I.P

you've got that right! most managers only think about the jobs that's gonna pour on them, sometimes they don't realize or remember that the one who carries the load are not them but the artists..YOU GUYZ HAVE TO GIVE THEM A BREAK!(or they'll end up dead as well)
