The great media uproar!
Posted 3/19/09
As we all know, the media is the place for entertainment and knowledge. But how far can that go before knowledge is lost. We awe att the fact that these celerbrities are famous and want to see even deeper beyond what on the stage or movie. Example, Kurt Cobain held a shotgun to his head reasons because drug induced state of mind brougth on by media pressure. We must realize that our intrest in these people can only go so far, and we must know that these celerbrities are not special. Example, Anna Nichole Smith dies of a drug over dose in 2007 as soon as her death was realesed the media went into frenzy sensationalizing and protruding into her life sickened me none the less. Not only that does the media think we care when there is a life taken every second. Why should their death be any more important than mines? we all are made of the same components, no one is more important than the other.

So question is, Do you think the media is more about about sensationalization then actual entertainment and facts?

Sensationalists. Obviously.

Sensationalism is entertaining. Two flies with one stone.

The media creates reality.

Not everything they show in media is true.

“Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.”

You could say, they only show us the things we want to see and not the whole enchilada.

american media is so racist!

Nope, I think that the ''media'' should only show facts instead of those so called ''sensationalization'' from things you don't even know it's fake or real.

But I assume everyone likes to gossip about things ~.~
So the most of the people would say ''yeah you're right''

it has to be provocative, or it would not be exciting. if it isnt exciting, it would not get ratings, which determines the checks cut by sponsors. all for the sake of keeping it free for fans, which can yield ratings from everyone with a computer and internet service. likewise, a TV with satellite.
South Park can be VERY racist, but it's exaggerated, because racism itself is just a bunch of absurd generalizations.
Gintama is nationalist, which is pretty much the same.
I'm a huge fan of both, and love everyone.
thank God for calculus. without it, we wouldnt be able to figure out how true these stats are.
the only thing wrong with racism is hatred. with love, it's comedy. if you can't laugh at yourself, then don't laugh. my brother does not even watch anime, making lots more people of every race and nationality much more similar to me. physics is not even a drop in the ocean when compared with theory.
I believe South Park covered how people sacrifice the chosen ones to the insatiable maw of the media.

P.S. "The ones watching that crap are the ones to blame."
