I belong to a blessed Charismatic Christian Church called New Creation Church in Singapore, and I never really understood why we are called Charismatic Christians. Here's an article that can help better explain that term.

Also, the site is pretty good to explore, I'm loving it!

My church is non-denominational. We focus on our relationships with God, and learning more about him from the bible.

In Sunday school we were studying spiritual gifts. I have the spiritual gift of faith, and I am so thankful to have that gift. I think I might have other gifts too, but I'm still learning about them. Whatever happens, I want to live my life for God, so I will use my gifts for Him. Even if I don't fully understand what gifts I have yet, I trust that He will lead me in the right direction. What do you think your spiritual gifts are?

T_T Either I'm very dense, or else I just have not found them yet. Hmm, how do you discern whether what you have is the spiritual gift from God? Could you also explain to me what the spiritual gift of faith is? I want to learn more.

Don't worry, you're not dense. A lot of people don't know what their spiritual gifts are yet, just ask God what yours is. He will show you what it is. Only people who are saved have spiritual gifts, and the moment you are saved you are given spiritual gifts.

Everyone has faith, faith pleases God. The only way to be saved is through faith. However, God has given certain people the spiritual gift of faith. People with the spiritual gift of faith are able to trust God in every situation, no matter how impossible it is. They trust that God has control over every aspect of their lives, and that His plan will deffinently be done, so they always come to God with everything that is going on. I know I have this spiritual gift, and although I just recently found out that I have it, it's been evident in my life that I've had this gift ever since I was a little girl when I became saved. When I told my mom of my gift, she agreed completely, because I've always had these qualities in me. I just never knew how to describe it in words.

I may have other gifts too, I just don't know how to describe them in words yet. Just like you haven't discovered what your gifts are yet either. But don't worry, you will find out. We just have to keep praying, and searching for them.

Yay Yep, only time will tell me what gifts he has given to me. Time is needed to uncover what God has planned for us, and what he has given us.

I've been asking God for wisdom (and I think he's telling me to learn patience), so that I may be able to discern his words for me and what I have to do in His will. I've told him that I completely trust in his promise that he has great plans for us, much greater than what we have in mind, thus I shall not worry anymore. I'm glad that it's not just by our faith that gives us access to the blessings, but the faith of Christ in us.

After we have walked with God day by day, patience will be cultivated and upon looking back will we then see the path that we have walked, in the short days of our lives. Yay, life with Jesus is so full of hope. I haven't gone through tough stages in my newly found faith yet, but I certainly pray about it all the time that when that time comes, I will have that faith to look towards nothing but him.

I think the Lord changed my character a lot, that's one of the more noticeable things I've seen done in me. I used to be full of frustrations, prone to anger, easily displeased, instant dislike for people, despair for future in the society. The circumstances still remain, but the sting is gone. For those who know God, love, and those who don't know to love don't know God yet, because God is love.

Have a blessed Christmas, people! I'm glad to have known you all, you too, lumiina. Being with god's children bring nothing but peace and joy.
