Oh okay, one obviously sarcastic post is worse than all those hundreds of posts that barely contribute to threads. *sigh*

Anyways, I agree with Shroom. Make the god damn schools much more interesting and maybe people will be willing to learn and go to school. If people enjoyed school and felt like it was important, they would be going. If they aren't, there is reason for it, and that's probably because the teachers and the schools just suck balls.

Why should these kids be paid to go to school? Its complete bullshit. I would smack my kid in the back of his/her head if they ever told me to pay them to go to school. What a load of crap. Stupid kids need to know how much money goes into to give these kids a education from their parents and community. Instead of paying them to do to something that should be a privilege do something to make school better for the kids and hire better educators instead douche bag teachers who make school a living hell to be at. Also parents have to do a better job at being involved in their childrens' education. If parents did a better job at movivating their kids and told them that their eucation is worth the effort then they wouldnt have to pay kids to go to school.

I'd love to be paid to go to school, but that doesn't mean I think it's right. If you wanna skip off school, skip off, if you wanna be paid for it, screw off. If you have to be paid to go to school and you actually go just for that, I'd punch you on sight. If a person skips off but goes for money, they aren't gonna learn a thing.

Well if kids don't go to school and at least graduate from middle school they can't get a job so it's their fault. And if they're gonna pull that "it's my parents fault" and have them put in jail they'll realize how stupid they are and the entire DC area will realize this and the problem will be solved then. People just don't want to put their time into anything; they'd rather spend money than spend time. Course money doesn't solve everything.

Actually in my previous country , parent need to paid to let kids go to school , so it's very hard , most of the kids give up because they didn't have anough money to go to school . So I think no .

I think being unemployed in the future and being rejected by potential employers because you don't have an education is motivation enough to stay in school. -_- Paying kids is fucking retarded. Like, what is the world coming to?

Can Be Either,
Depends On The Kids Situation.

The Teachers In My School Gave My Brother A New Computer,
If He Went To School Like A Good Little Boy...(But That Failed)
He Kept On Skipping Classes Still.
At List We Got A New Computer.

yeah!!!it's true that students are paid just to go to school...like me...i i will admit i will never get interest in going to school if my mum won't give me any money......in a more vivid way....i guess giving allowance is like bribing your daughter or son to go to school.

i think that's sad...students should want a education to better themselves without getting bribed....it's a pity.......

I don't really care, 'cuz I don't bring a single buck at school... students have to decide if they want to go college or not...it's up to them

Education is a choice which shouldn't be enforced, if an individual finds that ignorance is bliss and also feels school no longer provides him/her the proper cognitive nourishment they feel they should be receiving then let them leave school. Don't pay those lazy asses, sheesh. With the economy as bad as it is now, if those children are our future then we're screwed.

No i think its stupid.
I could easily be biased and say "Bring the money on!!!!!" But that would again, be stupid because there would be no reason for me to say that except that i am money hungry. Though i can't speak for other peoples situations.
They should use the money for better education and find other ways to get children into school.

@ miserykitsune:

I'm not sure about other places in the world but here they give us i think a yearly payment to help us pay for our school fees which helps. My school really does try to cut costs by paying parts of a cost of something they think it essential, even if its by a couple of bux.

I can't say it's wrong or it's right, but I think that the government is just demanding more money out of everyone.
