Might be a silly question but how long are the books?

Lets see... Max was 309. They really aren't that long, each chapter is only like two pages long. lol

Can;t afford to buy short books anymore haha finish that in like a couple of hours especially if it is as good as you make it sound.

Check it out anyway, read it in the store or get it from the library.

Yup. I started reading it on a whim and I got hooked. The first person narration could have been really annoying, but Max and the other kids are really likeable. Unfortunately, I've only read up to the third book, but I'll read the others when I have time.

I love how sarcastic Max is, she cracks me up. As far as the fourth book goes, I didn't really like it. It's all about global warming and is basically a soap box for the author, I'd already heard and learned all the information they force feed you in the book making it read more like a text book than a novel, but the interaction between Fang and Max was entertaining as Fang shows interest in an older woman Max tags Dr Stupendous. You could skip the book all together as it is really short, like half as thick as the others and just move onto book five. I hated book four, thought it was terrible and the villian way too far fetched, like something out of Batman the animated series. It's a brain in a jar. Dead serious. And the whole book is about Global Warming. Ugh. Hated it.

But I like the Batman villains. They're awesome. :O

I heard that the fourth book wasn't that great, but I still want to read it. I'd like to read about Fang's new crush too. Aha. Sounds entertaining. Anwyay, I though that Final Warning was the last book, but I just saw a new hardcover book for the series the last time I was at work. "Max" it was called or something. I wonder if that's the end...of if there's more?

I'm not sure where he plans to end it, but I don't think it was there. 'Max' is book five, and "Final Warning" is the fourth book. Max ends so that there could easily be a sixth book. I kinda wish he would hurry up and end the series though. I mean, how many more books does he have to write before they all finally make sense?
