I haven't ever seen cosplayers in public.. Unless you're counting Halloween at my school.. some of the grads cosplayed from sailor moon and a few people cosplayed Death Note.

There's this chick in my school that sometimes comes decked out in full Mana (Malice Mizer) attire. She had the hair and the blue lipstick and the whole shebang. >_>

Okay, so this one time, I was on the bus home and this guy gets on the bus, carrying a deathnote. I know what your thinking:"So what?" right? well, that's not all! he sat down and dropped the death note. Guess what he said: "Whoops! dropped my deathnote! can't do that. I still got lots of people to kill!" I swear, I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing. Still though, after that, I was crossing the street, and a guy in a wicked awful naruto costume passes by on a bike. It's happened 3 time since then. It's not really a bad thing, but it got me wondering how many people actually cosplay in pubic.

THE POINT OF THE STORY IS: Have you ever seen cosplayers in public? Do tell! E3

lol omg are you serious!? that is sooo funny! I've seen tons of cosplayers in Japan of course but it always seems like they are promoting something like its more of a job. They are pretty interesting too. I haven't seen anybody cosplay as anime characters but I've definitely seen the ones who like to dress up as Harry Potter and walk around with their magic wands and talk like they are from England...ridiculous...haha

Only at conventions, places by the conventions (mainly places to eat), Halloween, and midnight movie premieres/book premieres.

Other than that, no.
