Just a heads up for anyone who lives in Queensland, Australia. Our big pop-culture festival is on next weekend, 4-5 april. I believe it opens at 10:30, tickets are around $25AUS. And although it's labeled "pop-culture" it's pretty much 80% anime and manga. Lots of the Australia distributors are there and offer huge discounts on manga and anime, as well as like buy 2 get one free deals, so it's worth the money to get in usually, even if your not interested in any of the speakers or events.

If I were to get off my ass and go to Australia, I think I would have better things to do than visit some fagacon.

I might ride a kangaroo.
Or a koala.
But not this shit.

Actually, you can't do either of those things.
Sadly, when we tell stories of riding in kangaroo pouches, it's generally just a joke for Americans.
Also I wasn't suggesting you take a holiday here for this convention, lol.

Yeah, but I'm not affiliated, or payed, sponsored or even know the name of anyone running the event.

We only really have one real anime convention a year sadly and this is it, so it's best to let everyone know.
