China's High Tech Execution 'Death Van'
|
Read this article:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1165416/Chinas-hi-tech-death-van-criminals-executed-organs-sold-black-market.html After being sedated at the local prison, [the prisoner] will be loaded into the van and strapped to an electric-powered stretcher. This then glides automatically towards the centre of the van, where doctors will administer three drugs: sodium thiopental to cause unconsciousness; pancuronium bromide to stop breathing and, finally, potassium chloride to stop the heart. Death is reputed to be quick and painless - not that there is anyone to testify to this. |

i honestly think it doesn't sound like a bad idea. though it would probably never be used here in the united states. i don't find anything wrong with the death penalty and harvesting organs from people that were executed is a big plus.
though this doesn't have much relevance to this thread, i think they should start taking blood from prisoners every 3 months too. |

An execution is an execution so why does it have to be humaine ? Way I see it we should be using the guillotine, effective quick and painless, so whats wrong with it ? So whats wrong with this process they use ?

Errr, taking blood from prisoners is a bad idea. These people are prone to sexually transmitted diseases including HIV. Testing every single one of them for any blood borne diseases is very costly. On topic, this is just lethal injection done in a smaller, moving place. Nothing remarkable. And no, this is not inhumane. This is the most humane death penalty there is. You've got to look at the bigger picture, actions such as this must be done to prevent criminal acts from occurring against the general public. |

You've got to look at the bigger picture, actions such as this must be done to prevent criminal acts from occurring against the general public. testing blood for STDs is not expensive. you don't test patients individually. you test their blood after they've donated already. considering the US blood bank is already able to easily test all the millions of gallons of blood in its blood bank, it's not relatively hard. the risk of contracting an STD from a blood transfusion is extremely small and very rare in developed countries. |

I see what u mean, U have to understand that China has over 1.5 billion people. Of course the gov't would want death penalty because they wanted to reduce the population like they wanted women to have only 1 child.A bout their organs sold to black markets, I researched about it and the gov't decided to stop the organs black markets because their own people also waiting for organ transplants, too. About a million. |

Remember when just a single bullet was good enough to end the life of a criminal? I loathe how it has gotten so complicated with all of the pro-life activists shouting misleading slogans about humanism and the like. Of course, I have my own stance on the Justice system dishing out the death penalty, but imo, if you're not tearing the prisoner's limbs apart one excruciating vein at a time, you're gold.
One hit kill ftw. |
