These guys are still touring and producing albums; great ones! If the Rolling stones have been called "the old men of rock and roll" (and they have) then America must be "the middle-aged men of rock and roll." They have more than 230 songs to thier credit throughout their careers and there are only about a dozen of them I don't like. I guess that is enough to make them my favorites, but they are also totally devoted to their die-hard fans as well as the new ones they gain all the time. They actually have a website which features nothing but tour dates (to keep the fans posted) and photos of fans and for fans. (mostly, OF fans!) They really appreciate their audiences. To me, they are the greatest!
