China's GhostNet cyber spy network

china's "ghostnet" cyber spy network was recently discovered after a 10 month long investigation by the Munk Centre for International Studies in Toronto. it was found that it has penetrated computers in over 103 countries. most of these computers are of high value and are located in ministries and embassies. ghostnet can reportedly record conversations by turning on microphones or videos by turning on web cams without the target knowing. it also has the ability to search for information in infected computers and monitor emails.

the chinese government has denied any involvement with the project. <--- lol they would say that.

i had heard china was focusing on upgrading their electronic warfare capabilities but wow... this is pretty amazing if you ask me.
