Since when did family friendly gaming mean kiddie system? Nintendo is only a kiddie system because idiots think they are too badass to play games that don't look to realistic. I have still yet to see better party games than on the Nintendo system.

Zelda being one of Nintendo's Iconic characters won't change. Its like asking to stop making games with the basic story of good vs evil. If you want to have Link fight someone else, go play super smash. But I agree that they should make the game with multiple difficulties. Once they figure out the wii capabilities they can go crazy. Having Link run and shoot, spam bombs and arrows continuously (lol like he does in SSBM) and other things.

My personal Zelda Favourite has to be Majora's Mask. It was the first one I played and it has so much depth (not that other Zelda games are lacking!) To me, Zelda games are instant classics because Nintendo puts in so much effort in providing a brilliant, fun and engrossing experience.

And I do agree with Drell for 1 point. The SNES zelda is very challenging and TP did feel rather easy throughout becuae it is very similar to OOT. Not just bosses, puzzle too. Sure the side quests make you think, but playing it felt too easy for me. Like some, i would like different difficulty settings, to make a great game, even greater.

The graphics and artwork of Twilight Princess simply set apart this one from the rest because it finally gives the Zelda series the dark atmoshere's it deserves!

i love the legend of zelda and my favorite one is ocarina of time.
but i have to say, i am starting to get a little bored with the formula.

I find myself using walkthroughs for the zelda games and my gamecube came with the booklet for windwaker..majora's m was prety hard. I liked the oracle of seasons and the other one, time? You can ride on the animals!! Link ruls.

did anyone watch the zelda retrospective from gametrailers? (its also on CR) in the last episode, they did a timeline of the zelda stories. does anyone else think all the zelda stories are related? i always did and still do think the zelda stories never ralated to each other only for the exception of the sequels (phantom hourglass, majoras mask)

but thats why i think zelda is a great series cause we're given the same main characters but with a new story and world.

I think my first game was ocarina of time. I like to go back and complete all the side quests after I beat the main boss or sometimes before I beat it.

I've got OoT, MM, WW and TP.

I still think Ocarina of Time is the best damn game I've ever played. It was my first Zelda game and I just couldn't get enough of it until playing it through God knows how many times..

With Majora's mask I hate the 3 day thing and having to do the same stuff over and over again -.- and with Wind waker the endless sailing around bugs me. I do like those two games a lot as well, but they just didn't become that special to me. Twilight princess is great, though ^__^ almost as good as OoT, in my opinion ^__^ .

I love 'em all, played them all, passed just about all, own all, I just got Phantom Hourglass yesterday so I'll be busy with that one.
my top 5 favorites are:
1: Ocarina of time
2: A Link to the Past
3: Majora's Mask
4: Oracle of seasons/ages
5: Twilight Princess
my first zelda was a link to the past in 1996.
