The third gender. Are they a threat to society?! I just want to see if those here in CR think like some of my friends do. I'd like to think i'm not homophobic but i make gay jokes a little too often.

You shouldn't discriminate against them, even if you are freaked out by them. It's just wrong.

im not and maybe people who are homophobic are insecure about there own sexuality. and i had this friend who acted as if all gay people liked him or something geesh they dont like all guys they could be as picky as me or you

I'm fine with gays. I'm just freaked out when a friend of mine who used to be straight acts gay. I can't get used to it.

Nothing wrong with being Gay!!! ^_^ Threat to society???? I dont think so!!!! I also agree with myheadhurts!!! If one is homophobic that means that they are not entirely 100% sure of their sexuality, or are insecure as she said!! Also, some guys/girls are just scared to be attracted to the same sex! It's something perfectly normal, one can't avoid just meeting a stunning person and saying DAMN!!!! it doesn't mean you're suddenly considered gay. It also has a lot to do with society and their values that have been inserted to assimilate with yours!!
There are also those types of beauties that will make any a person go gay!!! It can't be helped!!

well i've had gay/lesbian friends in the past and i don't have any problems with the mechanics of the whole thing.

that being said, i don't care much for the gay culture in general. i don't see why parading down main street in bondage gear should be synonymous with "gay pride" most gays i've known personally tend be very self centered and narcissistic as well.

Well if hes a good friend youd get over it I mean youd still have your moments of going "wtf this is awkward" but hey he is still pretty much the same guy from before oh and it was a guess lol

i dont have any trouble with it.. i even joke about it.. i just dont like it when they are, well, getting too close.. that they want to get intimate.. ya know... err.. how to explain this..

imagine youre riding a bus and youre sitting by the window and this hugely muscled guy sat beside you.. you didnt pay attention to it first but for a while you get the feeling someone is watching you while youre looking outside the window... then a warm and heavy feeling came across your back.. then you see this huge guy has wrapped his arm behind you.. placed his head right beside yours then whispering gently in your ears... "can i have a kiss?...." then his arms get heavier "... or else."

thats the only reason i see myself as a homophobic... but i think gay men are excellent friends.. but i cant handle the opposite.. sometimes i have encountered women that acts like men... more manly than me.. and they get too cocky and get on your nerves when they bad mouth you for doing something that you said you were sorry for.. my eyebrows would join together but i just cant fight with her although she thinks she is a guy.. i dont... cant hit a girl...

Haha, Thx, but that was before anyway. Now he's back to his old self. He was just influenced by our self-proclaimed gay class president. And we don't like that president. He/She/It stands out.

i guess i dont mind seeing gay people as long as they dont put on a public display of pashing id be alright. but still however you look at it, its just wrong. awwell
