Athena in Season 2?

Hayate and the gang actually planned to go to Athens for the second time where Athena was in one of the chapters. Sadly, translations are a lil slow and Hayate and Athena's meeting is still uncertain. The 2nd confrontation between Hayate and Athena is expected by many and I'm pretty sure the anime will cover the plot faster than the manga IF they do develop this part of the manga.

Well Hermione showed up in the OP so I guess the Hinamatsuri Story Arc will show up in a couple of episode time...

and since Athena appeared in the manga last summer with the END OF THE WORLD Arc I guess theres a slight possibility she might appear in the anime, but in the '2nd half of the anime, if the show goes on about 52 episode like the last one did.

lol, Hermione, hehe~. well, that's for sure she will show up. Because you can see in the OP when Hinagiku and Hayate were talking in the Clock Tower,
even if Athena wudn't show up. But the development of Hinagiku char must be in this season.
Also, Athena still mystery, I think they'll show her when Hayate and Athena in their childhood, maybe

I really liked the upcoming characters they've introduced in the manga, such as Hatsuho and Yukariko. XD although, I doubt they won't make up more anime-only characters. >.>

Alrighties..ever since the Chapter 190 to 195 translated releases..it made sense when Hina and Ayumu pops up at the Aegean Seas. And yes..the WHOLE GANG went to Athens in the end..cept for a few others. Anyways, in the pic below it is seen that Athena is finding Hayate since she's holding a picture of him(ugh..didn't expect her to be a stalker xD). This shows that they'll most likely meet up in Athens. If not there won't be any point showing Athena holding a pic of Hayate in the manga. So yea..proves my point right =)

Hayate was a kid back then when he 1st ran away from home. After running into the forest for sometime, he discovers a mansion/castle on a hill..and that's where Athena comes in. She, too was a kid and with her 'supernatural powers' she granted Hayate with supernatural strength and abilties. Living in the 'supernatural mansion' as well where time runs on a different rate than the real world, Athena ages slowly. Romance sparked off between them and they decided to marry. Athena gives Hayate a ring and he loses it when he presented it to his parents in the attempt to tell them that he's living with Athena for now on. Hayate's parents ended up persuading him to give them the ring and they sold the ring to continue their gambling habits. Athena, discovering the loss, was enraged and she fought Hayate when he returned. During the fight, they bickered hurtful words to each other and Hayate defeats her and left. He went back to the real world filled with grief and guilt. Hayate's brother bumped into him and encouraged him to apologize to whomever he may have hurt. Going back to the place, the forest was fenced up, not allowing him to go any further. On the sign, it was written "Sanzenin" on it as well. Then a rapid fast forward to now (after Hayate met Nagi and everyone else), we see a scene with Athena looking away from the top of the hill.. saying that she still remembers him in her dreams.

If my memory doesn't fail me(since I've read this ages ago), that summary should be more or less accurate...I think. Do correnct me if I screwed up any part of it. And yes to answer ur question, Athena and Hayate did kiss on several occasions in the arc in the manga(when they were kids..yes when they were kids) Not sure about the anime tho. It seemed so happy-go-lucky like S1.
