...so here's another poll by yours truly to see what do majority of us really think of the song, the MV and 2EN1 in general.

...so here's the breakdown, bit by bit, so you people will understand before bashing/clarifiying/defending/whateverfloatsyourboat my opinion right away:

THE SONG: Could've been better. Frankly, I was expecting something more substantive, but what the heck. I gotta admit, it's pretty catchy. Only because it's repetitive and sad to admit, mindless. And it's unoriginal. TBH, this song kind of makes them look like the next Wondergirls. This is sad, because the first thing that got me interested in 2EN1 was not because of the fact that LIEK WHOA FEMALE BIG BANG!!!! o_O OMG!!! I was interested in what kind of girl group YG would come up with and was expecting something...more different than all the other girl groups out there. I mean, this is YG. The main reason this song is such a big letdown for me is that I was expecting something that would showcase their talents and convince me that 2EN1 would pwn everyone else all the way. But it didn't for me, at least. The song itself gives no indication of how individually talented the girls are, so therefore I still can't give a judgment of their vocal merits.
But CL and Min Ji already caught my attention, I'm happy to say. CL's rapping is almost at par with BB, I think.

THE MV: Dayum, what is up with that hair??? OH, THE HORROR! Ok fine, I admit as a BB fan I should get used to stuff like this but good lord, this thing totally brings a whole new level of OMGWTFISUPWITHTHAT?!!??
Sandara is probably the worst out of all them combined. I am still in the process of deducting how in the world they came up with the concept of antenna hair.
The clothes...well, they'd look good. If you're planning to attend a 70s rave that is. I admire their creativity for fashion but now is not the time for it.

THE DANCE: No offense but I think both Sandara and Park Bom look a bit awkward strutting their stuff. Fortunately CL and Min Ji look like total pros, they're both fluid with their moves.

Final word: Of course, this is just a commercial song, so I'm not expecting anything that mindblowing. We still have May to wait and see how this turns out. Fingers crossed, I am hoping that 2EN1 do not end up as YG's version for Wondergirls/SNSD. I am still waiting for that YG touch that made BB unique from all the boy bands out there and hoping they'd extend that to 2EN1.

i think the song is great for a CF but for a debut song its not strong enuf... i really love their style, im pretty open to any style anyway.... i just don't like people bashing at them.. idk... those kind of people gets on my nerves.... but i hope they'll get better in dancing and in singing.... im still waiting for them to debut....

Well, the song is catchy indeed. But yeah I'm also expecting more from them. I'm pretty sure that's not all they can show us though.

Lollipop isnt their debut song. The style of the clothes, the dance, and the song was all for the commercial.
But even if it wasn't I'd still like 'em. I like fashion, so I like the stuff they're wearing.
They've been trainees for quite some time, and koreans do pay some attention to trainees, so they're not anonymous.

Really, if they'd dress up Big Bang style and sing lollipop, it would look stupid. Even Big Bang dressed differently for this vid.

I look forward to their debut as they are dfferent and unique.

I liked the the songs. I like the MV. It's a good start for them.
It's not yet their debut song but it already hit a lot of fans.

the dance..hm...yah..i think park bom got a lil bit awkward dancing those steps...i was expecting more on the dance..but it disappoints me..although just a lil bit...

then...the clothes.. i love the palm tree hairstyle of sandy...at first..i kinda feel awkward on minji's solo part..where she wore pink jacket...cause she looks like ahm...in his mid 20s....the make up did made her look as an adult..not a tween...

but...as long it got into my head...i loved it..everything...but i do hope too that on their debut..ahm..not like this?? or probably more unique than any other gil groups' concept according to what mr yg said in the public...

Anyways, I'm pretty sure they'll have an amazing song for their debut.
I'll be looking forward, epesially when they come up with some "slow jam" songs. x] I wanna get to hear them clearly.

outfits are way to colorful. although, i think they sorta pulled it off.
my first impression of dara's hair was "OMGOMG. HIDEOUS. O.O". however, after numerous times of watching the mv, i got used to it. LOL.
