Ok, so when you fight you get points regardless of whether you win or lose. But for winning fights you get 2 points and for losing you get 1 point, so obviously you want to win. I will try to give you advice to help you win.
1. Check out your opponents before the battle:
you can do this by opening another window and typing there character name.mybrute.com/cellule or just their brute name.mybrute and then clicking on their name. If there is a space in their name replace it with a dash "-"
2. Things to watch out for
clubs - clubs hurt when you get hit, but if they are slow and you are agile, this may not be a huge problem
sword - swords do like 15 damage and you can use them more than a club ie you don't drop them as fast
whip - whips are a pain. they do about 10 damage per hit and if the person has one, you will get hit... a lot.
throwing stars - they only do 5 damage, but they are normally thrown 5 in a row
hammers, axes, big weapons in general hurt . and the more weapons the more you want to watch out.
sticks are the only thing you don't have to worry too much about. Knives are annoying, but not impossible to overcome.
DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS... watch out for them, they hurt and they hit multiple times every turn, so it's like having two people. luckily animals don't have much health.
you want to watch out for strong people with lots of health, and it you have a slow weapon like a club and your character is slow, watch out for agile people, they dodge hits.
