I use to hate reading manga too, but when i was half way through skip beat first season, I got impatient waiting for episodes so I started reading the manga. Trust me, the manga is GOOD! Just give it a try, you never know, you might end up liking it too
I think the first season ended somewhere on chapter 66ish? not sure but somewhere around there ^-^

i entered the skip beat web site , there was nothing about producing 2nd season, even at anime news they didn't mention that there will be a 2nd season. when i posted that there will be a 2nd season in one trusted Arabic sites they remove it because this news was just a rumor

of course there is going to be a second season...its just not going to be anytime soon....We just have to be patient...which just gives you the excuse to pick up the manga and start reading it!!!!!!!!!!!

i think that a second season is highly likely...but it just might not come out NOW...they ended it a cliff hanger (right smack dab in the middle of an arc! ARGH...) but that gives me hope that they are planning on continuing it...i think that the producers don't want to get ahead of the manga...so it might be awhile...but at least it's coming rite?

i hope that there is a second season theres too many chars we havent yet seen live nor the rest of this arc. maybe we'll be lucky and it will come out next spring

well so far i dont think anyone has read that chapter yet since we're all waiting for it to be done really wish that a new season of skip beat would start though so that we could even see that animated
