If anyone here has noticed the anime covered 4 years of work in 1 season... So u need to wait for nakamura ~ sensei to write some more yes but they also cut out the Ogata arc which i felt was kinda necessary for Ren's character development, and also Moko's family arc that finally answers questions about why she's the way she is, and strengthened her friendship with Kyoko. they also ended the 1st series at an odd point i can't tell if they cut out the 3rd chat between Ren and Bo or have re-arranged the order to be after his ''practice with Kyoko'' . which to be honest wouldn't make sense. the final episode makes you feel he's on his way to the test right then.... urrgh i've gone on too long sorry, i hope theres a 2nd series there's enough material there to do one, even though the mangas not finished and isn't weekly updated. it would mean a long wait till a third season though

Click to show or hide 1. There are plenty of animes with endings just wide open and also didn't follow the manga. Some examples of that are: Gakuen Alice(a.k.a Alice Academy) Fruits Basket OHSHC(a.k.a Ouran High School Host Club) 2. All animes above have(or had) rumors of having a second season. Common 2nd season anime sayings: "It's currently airing in Japan and will be released in America soon!" (when looking for 2nd season proof for other animes i often saw comments like this bringing me hope but when i checked the comment date, i read it had been written in 2007...) "There will be a season 2! Its going to air insert date here" (when that day passes and nothing has happened, usually "the release date" is pushed back for example saying skip beat will air october, nothing happened and others say the date is pushed back to 2010. How many times can a release date be pushed back?) "The manga has gone so much farther they HAVE to continue the anime!" (please look back at reason #1) "It's so popular, they have to make a season 2!" (animators ususally don't really care if something is really popular, when an anime is done it's done.) anyways hope i didn't make you guys too sad... i just don't want anyone else to have such high hopes and getting really disappointed in the end but i have more hope for Skip Beat since its a pretty recent anime but i guess i'll be checking my library for some manga soon... P.S. if you have any good romance anime recommendations please PM me!
