Seriously...I'm reading that it was October 5th or 7th..of 2009. I'm sorry but it is 2010 now and half the year has ALREADY passed by.
Sooo...can anybody explain what happened to season 2...?  Did you guys really quote this from TVTOKYO?
I was reading something on animenewsnetwork.com and one of the forums said it would be out this August (2010). Remember, I don't want to give anybody false hope. |

season 2 MIGHT be out in october tho its been sooo long however...
Inuyasha didn't end that good but they created another season for it to end better tho it took long and i mean ages...for it to come out which i suppose it will happen to skip beat
which hopefully it won't be that long >.< why can't they make the anime quicker like shugo chara (seasons) came out quick! |

They might just wait til the Manga finishes so they don't have to make up a story line or fillers :)

I looked at the fall season anime lineup for 2010 and no skip beat season 2. So the October date was just a bad rumer going around. Dont think they came out with the winter 2010 anime lineup yet so theres still a little hope for this year. But I think they wont be a season 2 until the manga is completely through. How ever long that takes.

I highly doubt that they'll be waiting for the manga to end 1st before bringing out the 2nd season as i've been reading the manga and i don't see any signs that it is going to finish anytime soon (and im up to date with the most recently released chapter). If they are planning on waiting until its finished then we could be waiting for well over a year from now just for the 2nd season to come out. Even though there is masses of story inwhich to use between thending of the 1st season and the mangas current standing.
Although this is just speculation, after reading lots of manga you start to get a feel for when endings are nearing whilst reading. But since i don't see anything that even hints towards an end as of yet, i believe that the manga will be continuing for a fair amount of time.

Hopefully they make a second season before the manga finishes. Either it'll take the manga a few years before it's done, or it'll have a crappy and unsatisfying ending. Right now there is so much going on and one chapter comes out like once every two weeks or so. I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to see Kyoko become an adult, become a great actress and get with someone in the end. The perfect ending would be the girls from Love Me gaining what they lacked in order to be in the section, Ren reuniting with his family and also knowing about his past, etc. All of that will take a bunch of chapters and a lot of time. There is so much left to happen for the manga to finish just like that.

Well, I think that the reason they're waiting for the manga to finish is because they do not want to have to put any unnecessary fillers, heaven knows we fear those.

Well I struggling in wait for the next season, but it obviously won't come any time soon.
It won't be part of the fall season (since it's content was revealed some time ago), and the winter/summer seasons are usually used for 13 eps series (or around that number).
I know that skip beat is pretty popular as a manga and an anime, but i don't know about sales. As proof, the anime still isn't licensed outside japan, am I wrong ?
So enjoying the manga !!! The story doesn't seem to meet it's end any time soon either, and it has a (very) large lead on the anime (you could easily make 2 animes season from what's existing so far).
One last word : Natsu is the best !!!!!! (manga readers should understand what I mean)

I finished watching season 1 for the 1st time last night, I LOVE SKIP BEAT SO MUCH!!!!
WE MUST HAVE A SECOND SEASON!!! T_T
I think i'll read the manga in the mean time ♥
