I just finished the first season, the majority of it in one night because I got addicted quick! If there's no second season..I will be crushed! Sounds dramatic but I took a chance on this series ( I'm not much of a "girly" anime fan. Most of it annoys me ) and it was really good. To leave it where it is kills the entire point of there being a back story. Pleeeeaaaze do a season 2!

I'm with u there. At 1st i thought that this was just another of those mushy drama stuff..
but it was far more funny and different...
the plot is totally catchy and unique...
I really wish that they'll make a season 2.. the part where they left off is where the good stuff happens!!

I just watched this anime, though I've been regularly reading the manga for a while now. I sooo hope they pick it back up! I'm worried though since the last episode aired over a year and a half ago...

Has anyone ever started an anime back up after such a long break like that? I really want to see some of the more recent story arcs in anime form, that would be so exciting! Don't want to mention specifics for those not reading the manga though, lol.

I was just on the official website and the most recent news they have about it was posted on 01/19/2010 regarding new character introductions.. so..... it doesn't look like we're in any luck at this time. :\ darn!

Still no official news on it, would be nice if it was made.
But like many series' the reason they don't do it is to boost the manga sales, because of the cost of anime its cheaper and more economically viable to keep a manga going. Wish it wasn't like that then many Series' wouldn't finish so abrutly

I WANT SEASON 2!
The anime is no where near half of the chapters in the manga , i really hope they will make a season 2!
Skip beat deserves it after all, am i right?
