alexthenerd 67 cr points Send Message: 24 Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 5/30/09 i hate character bashing . . . unless you actually critique them for a good reason. calling characters slutty whores isnt applicable unless they actually have sex with lots of people. most popular anime girls don't even have sex in the series. and if they happen to like more than one person, or change who they like, well thats just reality! you don't always like who is clearly better for you (and you don't know who is better for you, most of the time) i am thinking of this specifically because i saw lots of otona pink 'whore' comments on mangafox.com. . .seriously people are hard on female lead characters! oh, and for the reccord, lots of characters annoy the hell outta me! although, all of them do have good points, too. . .

I don't like these characters for reasons, not because they "get in the way" of any of my favorite pairings or stuff like that: Amu Hinamori - I understand that story is meant to revolve around her, but she's such a weak character who tells others to be strong and be themselves, when she has three guardians of her own. She needs to stand up for herself more. Also, she uses her heart more than her brains; there is such a thing as an equal balance. PLUS what grade is she in!? (Rhetorical question) Sakura Haruno - She's a very fake character who isn't true to herself and bullies people. I know that her bashing on Naruto is for comedy, but seriously, it gets taken too far sometimes, even to cover up her own feelings. Quit having you're inner Sakura feel things, and start feeling them for yourself. Tohru Honda - Yes being nice is what I want in the world, but there's a difference between being kind, and being a pushover >_< Kagome (Inuyasha) - She reminds me of a total Sakura, she annoys me, she reminds me of the type of character who's like kyaa ! this and kyaa ! that Haruhi Suzimiya - BIOTCH ALERT. She is the definition of spoiled ! Things have to go her way or the world is in danger. She will go to any extreme to get what ever the ** she wants. Hinamori (Bleach) - OMG realize you got played, and then don't ask poor Hitsu to NOT hurt Aizen. Hitsu feels for you and hates the fact Aizen hurt you... obviously you don't get it because you are not very strong minded. This is only the few that I think are overrated, but they're the ones who stick out in my mind. I'm sorry if I started something that everyone ended, but I felt that I have to hide these feelings from my friends- and now I'm with others who find similar characters overrated, so it's really a relief <33 Thanks everyone ! She cries for her boyfriend, acts OVERLY bubbly, and wants to make everything right tee hee My apologies Ichigo but NO that's not how it works. He killed my favorite character ( L) :'( so I basically stopped watching it from there because the anime sucked after that N didnt really help either. I just think he's a copy cat of L.
