In the later episodes (about ep 77 or so), there were some stuff in the episodes saying the 'real' Eyeshield 21.
Who do you think it is?
I think the previous Eyeshield 21 (before Sena moved shcool) is Sena's dad 'coz in the much later episodes it kinda resembles the previous Eyeshield 21 to Sena's dad.
Well that's what i think, but what about you?

I'm on episode 109, so of course I know who it is. They have no relationship.

I'll give you hint, Sena will face him in the tornament they are in to see what team will go to the Kanto tornament. (Meaning the guy is still in high school) He plays for the Bando Spiders (Team with the kicker that wants to challenge Musashi), has red eyes, and plays a guitar.
Need another hint? His name starts with an "A".

Actually, thats not the real one. Forget why though.
The real one isn't shown in the anime, however, is shown in manga - which is a must read after you finish the anime.
This spoiler doesn't reveal his identity, but does tell of future development in manga:

Well, If we went into the complete history of this, there were probably many origanal Eyeshield 21's, since the name was given to the fastest RB of the time. In the Anime, which this topic is taking about, They call Akaba the "True Eyeshield 21". So I think that's all there is to it.

Actually i think just maybe before that ep or so, remember the guy before Sena was playing against Akaba (i forgot his name but he did say that Sena is a 'fake Eyashield 21') and that he wasn't the Eyeshield he fought in the past because Sena was small and weren't as good as the one he played before..and when he was kinda saying the things about the 'true' Eyeshield 21, there was some pictures of him. And when you have watched eps 80 or so Sena's father was there and if you kind look and observe VERY closely from Sena's father to Eyeshield 21 that the guy was talking about, he kinda reembles him in a way.

Kakei said that he played him in America. The possibility that Sena's dad is the "current" real Eyeshield is impossible. It makes sense with Akaba also because he was also in America (Though he no longer has a right to the name).

Yes you've got some point, it's just that if you have a close look of the "current" realy Eyeshield (not Sena) at the back, he has brown hair like Sena's dad and the style of it. Well that's what i thought.

Sena's Dad never played American Football. Not possible in any way. ES21 is young still. If Kakei saw him play, there is no way he can timeskip so much that he is not a highschooler anymore.
Eyeshield 21 is still playing but in the other region of Japan. If you really want to know what really happens, Read the spoiler.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The Real Eyeshield 21 is Yamato Takeru who after many struggles in America, (Especially from the #1 player in the Youth Football League, Don) decided he wanted to come to Japan to find the best players to make an ultra japan team to face off against the Americans to show them that Japan can play.
Yamato (RE21) plays at Teikoku High, who Deimon faces off at the Christmas Bowl and wins against (Obviously a shonen manga would show them winning and not pulling a Slam Dunk-esque ending). Teikoku is your epitome of uber players, but when it comes to the Dream Team (Which the series is currently in), doesn't have a lot of Teikoku players.
Kakei and Akaba are Eyeshield 21 wannabes.. Akaba just claimed the "title" of eyeshield 21, saying that he's tough enough to be the best in his field. ES21 is a "title" that they based off different things to be a title of accomplishment. (Fastest RBs claim the number, Strongest linemen etc. etc.)
