Strike Witches Is Now Licesened

As long as its not ruined, I am fine if it is licenced, dubbed, or released in english.
Plus, a lot of people think it is a fansevice show, but at least the episodes are based on real events(somewhat anyway...).

Idk the show, but this is a nice change from the past, where about 99% of the cr populace were complaining about anime shows being licensed, all of the freaking time.

So, that should quell the worriers who were worrying about a censored DVD release. Funimation is also starting to put up subtitled episodes of SW on their video portal. Already seen the show of course, but it's fun to rewatch it and see Funimation's new translation (which seems to improve on BOST's, in terms of naturalness and strength):

Seems to be the DVD and not broadcast version here (notice the changed OP in ep 1, which on the broadcast version only starts at ep 2). Also rated "TV-MA."
