It's an Anti-Child Pornography Act, hentai overall shouldn't be banned. Its still a bill but would most likely be approved cause the Philippines act under the influence of the church. Child pornography is banned in most countries so the Philippines, again, wants to apply the same laws without further studies of the situation. Child pornography materials can be accessed through the internet in which the Philippine law enforcers is weak at. These materials may also be obtained from the underground market. Its not really the material itself they should kill-off but the syndicates involved in the acts of piracy in the Philippines.

Will stop now before I get too off topic

^^ you should really use the edit button.

Child pornography act? This isn't really something new for Failipinoes. Underage Prostitutes are abundant in the Philippines. Instead of the materials why not stop the actual people involved? Oh yeah...I forgot, they have the Police under their palms.

If that bill will be passed on congress, no one will enforce that law. Trust me, Politicians care more about securing their positions rather than making pointless witchhunt on child pornography.

Wee I actually got some replies!

Yeah I think that our country will have a very hard time enforcing the law since this issue goes hand-in-hand with piracy, seeing as we have trouble combating piracy, how much more can we deal with this issue. They may regulate this issue IRL, but the actions our country can make in the Internet are pretty limited. I really don't think we can hire or train "Internet Police " in our country to secure web supremacy considering our economical status...

also took this from sankaku
http://www.google.com/trends?q=hentai

also i didn't know that congressmen like 2d girls, anyways this "bill" will be most likely forgotten since most politicians don't really see through the laws they make (does CARP come to mind) also if you read the comments on sankaku someone said ".. the philppines has a loli for a president... " i was laughing so hard when i read that she's a midget dammit XD

^ Dude, GMA isn't loli. She's just a midget. If ever she were called a loli, that has to be the fucking ugliest one ever. Like she's the loli antagonist who would rape you with over 9000 tentacles.

Believe me they can't enforce these laws online. In real life they work under the influence of money, or politics.
