What do you think about Code Geass?

This is the best anime ever!!!!!!!! i have never seen anime better and dont wish to see.......Code Geass is my icon...=)

ok what most ppl think that code geass and death note is the same is WRONG >o code geass is way more better than death note...well, there alot of suspense in both bu code geass's ending way more better than death note's ending =D and plus, the real story starts at r2, when all the secrets are revealed...almost all as we still dont know c.c real's name and other things but yea season 1 is more like a suspense, especially the last ep! =D i couldnt wait for season 2 <3

As much as I LOVE Code Geass season 1, I'll have to say Code Geass wasn't the best thing since sex like all the other fans put it out to be (in fact I'm one of those people who are quite disappointed with what they did with R2).

People have always been saying Code Geass is a Death Note copy, sure the theme of pretty, slender, with long limbs teenage boy gains a dangerous power from a mysterious being and plots to "correct" the world is technically like Death Note, however I like to think differently. What's funny is that Death Note isn't even that original itself since clearly its copy things off from Akumestu (personally I think Akumestu is better than both Death Note and Code Geass put together)

If you stop to think about it, Code Geass copy a fair amount of things from the Gundam franchise.
1)The white devil nickname given to Suzaku's knightmare = The white devil nickname given to Amuro Ray's mobile suit (Amuro Ray is the first Gundam pilot in the Gundam franchise which aired back in 1979)

2)How Lelouch wears a mask, secretly hiding the fact that he's from royalty, and he's started out getting revenge against his family for killing his mother and making his sister blind and cripple = Char wearing a mask, secretly hiding the fact he's the real Zeon successor, and started out trying to get revenge against the Zabi for killing his father and making him a nobody.

3)There's also how the scene where Charles gives a big speech after Clovis is killed by Lelouch is a complete parallel to when Degwin Zabi gives a speech after Garma is killed by Char.

There's more, but those 3 comparisons are the most obvious references to the Gundam franchise.

I cannot describe how much I love this anime!!! The second season is very intense and kept me going!!! My favorite characters are Lelouch and Suzaku....I have others to like C.C. and stuff. Very good I will probobly go back and watch it lol!!!

Code geass changed the views on anime watches such as myself the best anime eveeeeeeerr

Code Geass is alright.
I enjoyed Death Note more.

Awesome anime. Like a good book, said I'd only sit and watch one episode and go to bed, sat and watched the entire 25 episodes they have here in one sitting...and I gotta say, I'm impressed...and tired, lol. Great anime I would recommend to anyone.
