Probably should be named the best, most well thought out anime EVER.
I mean, not anyone can write a story so intense and turn it into a great anime.

You know a great anime when you say okay i need to sleep but end up staying up all night watching the show its addicting also it has you thinking about it the very next day its a shame its came to an end. its great Code Geass is very amazing i am glad i was able to watch this great anime. Characters. story was superb.
ALL HAIL LELOUCH!
Season 3 is gunna be very intense if they top lelouch and the rebellion

What do I think about Code Geass? You can find out if you read the Code Geass forum topics “Did Lelouch Kill Euphie to save the Japanese from Her?” “Did Lelouch Kill Euphie to save Her?”, and “Did Lelouch Kill Euhie to Gain Japnese Support?”.
It is true that the three opening posts total about 6,200 words.
The average American adult supposedly reads prose at about 250 to 300 words per minute. It would take him 24.8 to 20.66 minutes to read the three opening posts in those topics. If he spends five to ten minutes a day reading them he can be done in 4.96 to 5.185 days.
And I think that will be time well spent.

I <3 Code Geass but it is NOT the best anime. As Andydono said, it refereances Gundam stuff like Suzaku is a bad rip off of Jesus Yamato.

I really don't understand some guys. Some people in this world say that Code Geass is on the same level as Naruto. Do they really have no brain at all ? Do they ever studied philosophie or are they just stupid ?

They're not stupid and they do have brains. They just happen to be totally ignorant of what separates genius from mediocrity.
And what does philosophy have anything to do with this?
You should see people comparing this to KHR, or even Inuyasha. THAT'S no brains, right there.

I finally decided to go back and finish this series after 3 years. I was one of the people who had initially quit after Euphy died. I'm SO HAPPY I gave the show a second chance. Not the greatest or even original anime ever (I call it Gundam Geass) but brings the best elements of a ton of anime I enjoy together with a unique twist. Definitely one of my favorite series now.
Leleouch is definitely NOTHING like Light Yagami who he is frequently compared to. I also believe he IS dead but him choosing that path is one of the reason I think he's such an awesome character. Way to atone, Lulu AND complete your ultimate goal.

To be honest, Code Geass is my favourite anime ever. I absolutely LOVE it! A lot of people compare this to Death Note - I suppose I can see where they're going but they're are a lot of differences aswell.

I don't see why people compare Lelouch to Light as Lelouch hates people who force peace by fear, which is what Light did. And lols dbz is terrible compared to CG. Code Geass is one of the most well written shows I've seen.
