How often your car tires last? Where do you guys change your car tires? Pep boys or local tire shop? Used or new?

I mostly end up changing at least one of them within 2 months. -_-

You would change 1 tire at a time? That isnt good to have different tires with different thread wear.

My budget tells me to afford one tire at a time. Do you have a problem with that?

When changing tires, you should always at least chance two, on the same axle, at a time. It's fine having two different tires or two sets with different tread wear but it's never good to have 3 different tread wears or 3 different tires. Having 3 different tires causes the car to steer strangely.

I have driven on three different tires before and it's terrible to do so. While driving my Integra, it notably increases bumpsteer.

How long a tire lasts depends on what kind of tire you have and how you drive on them. Some tires may last only 30k miles while some may last 80k. Tread life really relies on the compound of the tire and how much abuse it takes everyday.

If you absolutely have to replace 1 tire, albeit due to budget, then do it. Best to put your safety first. But if the tire is still safe enough, decent tire wear, no abnormal damage, then wait till you have enough to buy two or a full set.

I dont have a problem with it...but refer to what revolutionofone has to say. It is usually recommended to change the adjacent tire as well.
