I'll always prefer physical copies, but I love reading manga on my Kindle.

I read light novels that are impossible to buy in English on my kindle, so I'd certainly read manga as well.

I have a kindle fire and I love it, but I agree that sometimes it is nice to read on paper. I like to have a break from computer screens and I like the look, feel and smell of books (it was a long transition for me to move to e-books in the begining and even now I dont read everything on the kindle). I like the look on peoples faces when they walk into my house and see the bookshelves everywhere I like to collect books (especially manga) so as long as they are making physical copies of manga then I will still buy it. It is really cool to have manga on a reader like that for travel purposes. lugging a bunch of books on vacation is never fun.

I would and I will - once I get myself an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite... Do you think it will suffice? Should I order Kindle Fire instead?...

If I cannot get the physical book, I get them on my Kindle Fire. I used to use an iPad, but they are just awful considering how much you pay for them.

if cost isn't an issue, then sure why not

for the manga I really liked I'd still buy the hardcover, because I like seeing lots of books on my shelves, and you never known an electronic will comp out.

It'd be awesome on the Kindle Fire, no doubt.. But half the point on buying them (at least for me) is to collect them. I definitely agree with the whole "book feel".. But digital sounds pretty appealing; after all, no bent pages or anything.

I read original post and then had to check the date, because digital books are now almost the same as paper books. I would not buy a kindle/nook for manga the same reason I would not buy one for books. With a $100-200 price tag it would take 100+ manga to make up the cost (you save $1-1.50 a manga) and many manga (from what I see on BN.com) don't have a e-book version.

E-book could be lost, stolen, or break. I will never spend money on an e-book.

The price is nice but i couldn't read it digitally. Like most text on a screen i just skim through it without reading it just to find the important parts of the text.

No, I just couldn't psychologically handle the concept of owning books of any kind that are in a digital format.

I've read Vampire Hunter D eBooks
As well as the Mangastorm app to read things while on the road or something.
E-books are considerably less expensive than hard copies and they're easier to carry.
